Day Itinerary
• Arrival at the Scenic Area: Departure around 7:00 AM is recommended. Your driver will pick you up from your hotel ahead of time, and you will travel to Panda Valley by private vehicle. You are expected to arrive at approximately 8:00 AM, perfectly timed to watch giant pandas having their outdoor breakfast. You may first explore the Giant Panda Ecological Enclosure to get close-up views of these lovely, fluffy animals.
• Tour Route: After viewing the giant pandas, follow the wooden boardwalk uphill, where you might spot red pandas wandering freely. Staff feed the red pandas at irregular times, generally beginning from the lower zones and moving upwards from around 9:00 AM. If you are close to the main exit during feeding hours, you may exit and re-enter via the lower entrance to catch the red panda feeding session.
• Duration: The sightseeing at Panda Valley lasts roughly 2–3 hours.
Day 2 | CHENGDU

After visiting Panda Valley, travel by private vehicle to a nearby restaurant for lunch. Sample celebrated local specialities, including brown sugar fermented glutinous rice wine from Zhang Laozao at Taiping Street, spicy rabbit heads from Jiang’an Road, and retro-style scallion rolls. Following lunch, enjoy a short break to refresh before your afternoon sightseeing.

Afternoon: Dujiangyan Scenic Area
Day Itinerary
• Arrival at the Scenic Area: Depart at around 1:00 PM and travel to Dujiangyan Scenic Area by private vehicle. We recommend entering via Gate 6 at Qinyan Tower, the highest viewpoint within the site, which delivers sweeping panoramic vistas of Dujiangyan.
• Tour Route: Upon entry, visit the attractions in the following order: Erwang Temple, Anlan Suspension Bridge, Fish Mouth, Flying Sand Weir and Bottle-Neck Channel.
◦ Erwang Temple: A hillside shrine honouring Li Bing, the ancient hydraulic engineer, famed as “Jade Fortress Fairyland”.
◦ Anlan Suspension Bridge: Stretching across the rushing Min River, it is also known as the Lovers’ Bridge.
◦ Fish Mouth: An ingenious levee splitting the Min River into two waterways.
◦ Flying Sand Weir: A waterworks structure with exceptional sediment flushing functions.
◦ Bottle-Neck Channel: Precisely regulates water flowing toward the Chengdu Plain.The whole route runs downhill for relaxed walking. You will finally exit the scenic area through Lidui Park.
• Duration: Allow roughly 3–4 hours for your Dujiangyan sightseeing.
