Day 1 - Arrival in Beijing

Upon your arrival in Beijing, your driver will welcome you at your airport’s arrival hall and get you to your hotel in a private vehicle.

Day 2 - From Tian'anmen to Hutongs | Exploring Beijing's Imperial and Local Heritage

Begin your day with a variety of traditional breakfast items at Beijing's Huguosi Snack Street.

Step into the heart of Chinese history with a visit to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Walk through the iconic square and then explore the grand imperial palace, discovering its rich history and stunning architecture.

Experience the charm of old Beijing with a rickshaw ride through the historic Hutongs. These narrow alleys offer a unique glimpse into traditional courtyard living, which you'll learn more about from your tour guide.

For lunch, indulge in classic Beijing cuisine with a crispy and flavorful Peking Duck dish.

Relax with a coffee break on a rooftop terrace and take in a panoramic view of Beijing. Reflect on your day's adventures while enjoying a peaceful moment above the city's hustle and bustle.

End your day with a delightful dinner at a local restaurant to round off your day.

Day 3 - Beijing Adventure | Mutianyu Great Wall, Temple of Heaven, and Tai Chi Experience

You'll begin your day at the iconic Temple of Heaven, joining a Tai Chi session with locals. This traditional Chinese martial art is a beloved morning ritual practiced daily by Beijing residents. It's a unique opportunity to connect with locals through this ancient practice.

Then, you'll journey to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. You'll ascend to the wall via cable car, where you can get a stunning aerial view of the wall and its surroundings. Once you're atop the wall, you'll be able to stroll along its storied pathways, watchtowers, and taking in the vast, panoramic views of the area's rolling hills and valleys.

Day 4 - Summer Palace Serenity and Xi'an Bound | A UNESCO Heritage Adventure and Onward Journey

Begin your tour with a leisurely stroll through the stunning Summer Palace, a masterpiece of Chinese landscape garden design. Wander along the picturesque pathways, surrounded by lush greenery and ornate pavilions, and soak in the serene beauty of this royal retreat.

Explore the renowned Long Corridor, famous for its exquisite painted decorations and the panoramic views it offers. Continue to the shores of Kunming Lake, where you can take in the tranquil waters and scenic landscapes that have inspired poets and painters for centuries.

Ascend to the majestic Tower of Buddhist Incense, the highest building in the Summer Palace complex. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the palace grounds and the distant cityscape from this elevated vantage point. Learn about the historical and spiritual significance of this iconic structure.

Conclude your tour with a visit to the Yonghe Temple. Also known as the Lama Temple, this beautiful and historic temple is one of the most important Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in China. You’ll explore its ornate halls, intricate sculptures, and vibrant artwork while learning about the rich history and cultural significance of Tibetan Buddhism in China.

Enjoy your free time until your guide arrives to escort you to the high-speed train station. You’ll embark on a 4.5-hour bullet train ride to Xi'an.

Upon your arrival, your personal will greet you in the welcome hall and then drive you to your hotel with a personal car and driver.

Day 5 - Terracotta Army Wonders and Xi'an's Cultural Delights | Bell & Drum Towers, Muslim Quarter, and the Great Mosque

Depart from your hotel and venture to the magnificent UNESCO World Heritage-listed site of the Terracotta Army: rows of 7,000 life-sized terracotta figures and horses buried beside Emperor Qin Shihuang in his majestic mausoleum. Browse the exhibitions of the museum to gain further insight into the intriguing history of the tomb.

Later this afternoon, take a walk on the Bell & Drum Tower Square and from where you could pay an outer visit of the two towers. The two towers were also built in the Ming Dynasty and the Drum Tower is 4 years older than the Bell Tower.

At the Muslim Quarter food street, you will meet lots of local food and snacks, as well as some little souvenirs. If you are interested in local food, it is a good place to satisfy your stomach.

At last, you’ll visit the Great Mosque, a major site for the Muslim community in Xi’an. This mosque, different from the mosques we usually see, is more like a traditional Chinese garden. For example, you will see Chinese pavilions with painted beams and engraved ridgepoles. At last, transfer you back to hotel.

Day 6 - Exploring Xi'an's Rich History | Shanxi History Museum and Big Wild Goose Pagoda, then Off to Guilin

You’ll begin your tour at the Xi'an Museum, which is home to a vast collection of ancient artifacts and cultural treasures. Wander through the exhibits showcasing relics from various dynasties, including ceramics, jade, and ancient texts. Gain insight into Xi'an's rich history and its role as a cultural and historical hub.

Next, visit the historic Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, a symbol of Xi'an's ancient heritage. Admire the stunning architecture of this seven-story pagoda, built during the Tang Dynasty. Climb to the top for panoramic views of the city, offering a unique perspective on the blend of ancient and modern Xi'an.

Enjoy your free time until your guide come and escort you to airport for your flight to Guilin.

Upon your arrival, your private guide will welcome you at the arrival hall, and transfer to your hotel with a personal car and driver and help you with luggage and check-in.

Day 7 - Guilin to Yangshuo | Li River's Karst Majesty & Ancient West Street Discovery

Join us on the Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo - the centerpiece of any trip to northeastern Guangxi Province. Gorgeous Karst peaks give you a surprise at each bend of the limpid river under the blue sky. Water buffalo patrol the fields, peasants reap rice paddies, and school kids and fisherman float by on bamboo rafts. With its breathtaking scenery, life on the river is a taste of a life far removed from the concrete metropolis.Your day will begin with a pick-up at 8:20 in the morning from the hotel in Guilin. From here you will travel to Zhujiang pier, where you will board the boat. The cruise lasts approximately 5-hours (from 9:00 - 14:00). During this time you will enjoy stunning scenery of the Li River. Finally, to finish the day, we will enjoy a wander through Yangshuo town and a roam down the famous West Street. Your day will end at approximately 4 pm, when you will be dropped-off back at your hotel.

Day 8 - Flight to Shanghai

Enjoy your free time until you’re to be escorted to the airport for your flight to Shanghai.

Upon arrival, your private guide shall take you to your hotel along with your personal guide and driver.

Day 9 - Shanghai Unveiled | French Concession, Yuyuan Garden, Old City God Temple, and Nostalgic Strolls in the Old Streets

Start your day with a visit to the beautiful Yuyuan Garden, a stunning garden built during the Ming Dynasty. This historical oasis offers a peaceful retreat from the busy city and a look into the elegant lifestyle of ancient Shanghai. You’ll be able to enjoy traditional Chinese performances (such as Pingtan) being performed as you explore the garden.

The City God Temple is a significant Taoist site that provides insight into Shanghai’s spiritual heritage. The surrounding bazaar is a bustling hub where you can shop for traditional crafts, and try out authentic Shanghai Street cuisine.

You’ll get to explore some of Shanghai’s Nongtang alleys, narrow lanes lined with historic Shikumen houses which showcase the city's traditional lifestyle.

The Bund is a historical district known for an iconic waterfront promenade which offers stunning views of colonial-era architecture juxtaposed against the towering skyscrapers of Pudong. You’ll get to walk along the scenic Huangpu River and soak in the historical significance and the vibrant energy of Shanghai's financial district.

Xintiandi is a chic shopping and entertainment district which features restored Shikumen houses that now host trendy boutiques, cafes, and restaurants. Enjoy a leisurely lunch and experience the modern, cosmopolitan lifestyle that defines contemporary Shanghai.

You’ll finish the day at the French Concession, an area known for its beautiful European-style villas and tree-lined streets. The French Concession represents the sophisticated and stylish side of Shanghai, contrasting beautifully with its traditional style Nongtang alleys.

Day 10 - Departure

Enjoy your final day in China until your guide arrives to escort you to the airport for your departing flight.
